This week’s #TeacherTuesday features Amy Mednick, an 11th grade cosmetology teacher and former graduate of Eastern Center for Arts and Technology’s #Cosmetology program and Lower MorelandHigh School. We’re happy to share the news that Amy was presented with the “New Teacher of the Year Award” by the Pennsylvania Association for Career and Technical Education last week.
Amy credits her aspiration to teach to some of the great teacher role models she has had throughout her education. She notes, “I love what I do and I love to inspire my students everyday with knowledge.” Apparently her colleagues who nominated her for this award saw that energy in action.
