#TeacherTuesday: Ann Kuntzmann

On this #TeacherTuesday, we’re happy to feature Ann Kuntzmann, a Lenape Middle School guidance counselor who’s been offering a listening ear and wise counsel to Central Bucks School District students for more than 30 years.

She notes that in spite of the enormous number of changes that have taken place during that time, “kids still need to feel cared about, supported and valued…to feel that they have a voice, and that someone is listening. For some children, school is the only place where that happens.” Ann also reminds us that kids who are the hardest to like are frequently the ones that most need a listening ear. And she is a firm believer that relationships need to precede the other education ‘R’s:’ Rigor, Relevance, and Resiliency.
