This week’s #TeacherTuesday is Danielle Udis who followed in her mother’s footsteps to become a teacher and now has the unique opportunity to sometimes co-teach in her mom’s class! A newly-created position, Danielle is an elementary technology integration specialist for Council Rock School District, traveling to all 10 elementary schools to work with teachers and students and support learning and student success.
“I have met with grade-level teams to create technology goals for the year,” says Danielle, and she is now involved with planning sessions and co-teaching in classrooms. “In some primary classrooms, we are working on Chromebook safety, logging in, and accessing websites and apps, like Google Classroom. In the intermediate grades, we hit the ground running!”
She adds, “Many teachers are using Google Classroom as a learning platform across the curriculum. Whether it be language arts, math, social studies, or science, both the teachers and students are having fun while using technology! Integrating technology is crucial as we prepare these 21st century learners for an ever-evolving world.”
