#TeacherTuesday: Erin Marcellus

We kick off a new school year of #TeacherTuesday posts with Erin Marcellus, a second-grade teacher in Limerick Elementary School in the Spring-Ford Area School District. While certified as a principal, she plans to stay in the classroom because, even after 18 years, she still enjoys herself!

Erin cherishes the relationships she’s made over her teaching career and still keeps in touch with many former students. She says, “With so many different things going on in the world today, sometimes the positive connection you make with students can really help them develop a sense of empowerment, which can lead them to success, both academically and personally.” And she notes, “It is so exciting watching them grow and mature as they progress through the different grade levels.”
