“Art is an endless open door, and for me, spending time working with students in the art room gives students the unique opportunity to offer their voices in different ways,” says today’s #TeacherTuesday, Blair Greiner. An art educator at William Penn Middle School and a member of the Pennsbury Education Association, she believes that “creating with your hands, and learning how to really see the world around us, is a life connection that is invaluable in today’s world of technology.”
“Sharing that experience with students is the most important part of my work and I am filled with gratitude for the amount of heart, effort, and skill the students in my classes put into their work,” Blair adds.
Let us know who else is lighting that creative spark in their students and we’ll profile them in an upcoming #TeacherTuesday. And look for the TV ad about Blair today on Fox 29.
